SGA Production Services, Lansing Michigan, today announced the recapitalization of T&B Equipment, Inc., one of the leading event seating and flooring companies in the United States. The combined companies now offer the most comprehensive temporary seating and staging inventory, services, and solutions across the country. This strategic acquisition is SGA’s first since partnering with Dubin Clark & Company, Inc.

Headquartered in Ashland, Virginia, T&B Equipment rents, delivers, assembles and dismantles temporary seating, flooring, and camera towers for large outdoor events nationwide. This summer is looking busy for T&B Equipment. With a national men’s golf championship coming up mid-June, T&B is in the midst of assembling everything from camera towers to on-site TV studios, temporary seating, hospitality structures, pedestrian bridges and more for the highly anticipated event in Oakmont, PA.
This certainly isn’t a first for T&B Equipment—who has built structures for national golf championships since 1996. Experience with scaffolding enables T&B to custom build just about anything; pair that with the skill level necessary to install equipment on challenging terrain—this is what sets the company apart from other event equipment vendors.
A well-established name in the golf industry, T&B first provided camera towers for NBC Sports broadcasting over 40 years ago. The relationship with the PGA eventually grew to involve more custom equipment design and installation for a variety of professional golf events.

T&B Equipment completed venue configuration and accommodations for TrackTown USA IAAF World Indoor Championships competition at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland. The venue design includes a raised 200 meter indoor track with stadium seating capacity for over 7,000. The project was installed in only fourteen days and will be dismantled in just seven.

The championship event which kicks off March 17, and runs for four consecutive days, hosts over 600 of the world’s greatest track and field athletes as they compete to qualify for the next level championship. The competition is typically regarded as a site for athletes to practice for the upcoming season, but with the Summer Olympic Games in Rio this year it’s a bit more intense as they compete in hopes of securing a spot on their respective teams.
Tasked with innovatively representing the sport of track and field, T&B played an important role in designing and installing custom equipment and accommodations. The overall scope of the project included theater-style tip-up seating, galvanized guardrail systems, scaffolding, elevators, as well as custom flooring for which to build the entire temporary venue.
The TrackTown USA event is a significant project for T&B as it’s only the second time in history that the United States has hosted the IAAF World Indoor Championships. Likely a sold out event, it was critical T&B configure the space with skill and precision to maximize seating capacity and create a state-of-the-art track site for the popular event.

T&B Equipment has completed the design and installation of three sky decks at City Stadium in Richmond. With the addition of these spacious decks, the 86-year-old stadium, home to the Richmond Kickers, can accommodate a combined capacity of 200.

The midfield sky decks feature premium seating, catering and beverage service at a small price for the luxury and amenities provided. These sky decks are completed just in time for the Kicker’s season opener March 26. A major upgrade from the hospitality tents available to ticket holders in the past; the new sky decks are the perfect place to host corporate groups and social outings.
